Excerpted from Morita Therapy '[Classic] Institute website:

Morita Therapy Training for Therapists for Classic and Brief Methods: While Peg LeVine continues to provide Morita therapy for artists and victims of human cruelty of all genres, our Institute prioritises professional therapist training. Training includes case formulation and duty of care for clients during the rest-solitude phase; therapists learn to formulate the power of silence and paradox, to design indoor-outdoor therapeutic spaces for creative, purposeful habitats, and to formulate art engagement specific to a client’s fine and gross motor capacity.

Our curriculum is structured to equip therapists with the necessary skills to support clients in their healing journey, emphasizing the integration of Morita's consciousness theory. Participants engage in experiential learning activities that cultivate their understanding of the therapeutic relationship and how to facilitate growth through structured environments. By focusing on the intricacies of clients' experiences and the environments in which they heal, trainees emerge with a holistic perspective that can significantly enhance the therapeutic process. Moreover, this training not only prepares professionals to support various clients but also instills a deep respect for the creative spirit inherent in every individual.
